Suwon City will renovate 334 urban parks in Suwon City by September 17 ahead of the Chuseok holiday.

The maintenance will be carried out in 98 neighborhood parks, 202 children's parks, and 34 small parks to create a pleasant and safe park environment.

An inspection team consisting of four district offices' employees of green parks department, and park managers will check landscaping, facilities, electrical facilities, toilet management, and illegal activities.

They will also repair major facilities such as sports equipment and benches that citizens frequently use, and manage cleanliness by disposing of household waste and dog waste around parks and reservoirs.

In addition, a joint inspection team composed of city and district officials will visit four major parks by the 13th to conduct on-site inspections on overall park management.

The joint inspection, which began at Mulhyanggi, Maehwa, and Jungbodeul Park in Gwonseon-gu on the 6th, will continue at Mulhyanggi, Maehwa, and Jungbodeul Park in Jangan-gu on the 8th, and Hyowon Park in Paldal-gu on the 10th, and Dasan, Maetan, and Geulbitnuri Park in Yeongtong-gu on the 13th.

이와 함께 시·구청 공직자로 구성된 합동 점검반은 오는 13일까지 4개 구 주요 공원을 방문해 공원 관리전반에 관한 현장 점검을 시행한다.

6일 권선구 소재 공원 물향기·매화·중보들공원에서 시작된 합동 점검은 8일 장안구 물향기·매화·중보들공원) 10일 팔달구 청소년문화·효원공원, 13일 영통구 다산·매탄·글빛누리공원에서 이어진다.

점검 결과, 단기에 정비할 수 있는 사항은 추석 연휴 전까지 정비를 완료하고, 시설물 파손 등 즉시 정비가어려운 사항은 정비계획 수립 후 조치할 예정이다.
