수원시다문화가족지원센터(센터장 유경선)와 수원시여성노동자복지센터(센터장 오유진) 간의 지역사회 이주민 권익향상을 위한 업무협약이 지난 4월 25일 진행되었다. 이번 업무 협약으로 양 기관의 연계체제 구축을 통한 지역사회 내 다문화가족 및 이주민의 고충 상담 및 권리구제 활동 등 사업 운영 전반에 걸쳐 힘을 합칠 예정이다. 또한 양 기관은 4월 29일 결혼이민자 대상 ‘노무사와 함께하는 노동 인권 특강’을 진행하여 지역사회 내 이주민의 권익향상을 위한 협력의 시작을 알렸다. 특강은 근로계약서 작성 시 유의점, 임금 관련, 근로시간 및 휴가 관련 등 근로활동을 하며 꼭 알아야 할 부분에 대해 근로기준법을 토대로 진행되었다. 교육에 참여한 베트남 출신의 한 결혼이민자는 “평소 일하면서 궁금한 점도 많았고, 특히 근로계약서를 작성할 때 어려운 단어도 많고 어떤 부분을 주의해야 하는지 잘 몰랐는데, 이번 기회를 통해 잘 알 수 있게 되었어요. 좋은 강의를 진행해 주셔서 감사합니다.” 라고 전했다.
